Good morning!! How can we thank you enough!! Thank you so so much for everything, from helping us plan out the night, to setting up the mic on the beach, to being an amazing amazing DJ. You and your friend did such an amazing job. I got a lot of comments and questions about how great you guys were and how it was that we knew you! You really made the night what it was and we had so so much fun. it really couldn’t have been better (except maybe if we had known how to actually dance to that Jewish song!)! Really, I don’t know what else to say. Thank you so much.

Hiring Bernard and his crew was one of our best wedding decisions. Bernard’s DJ’ing was incredible; his timing was perfect, he always caught the mood, and despite smooth as silk (unnoticeable) transitions we still had that joyful “oh, THIS song” reaction with every new track he laid down. He completely understood our preferences and tastes, and introduced so many great classics of his own; I can’t imagine a better soundtrack for our wedding, or a better personality and professional for the job. And music, and tasteful, subtle MC’ing aside, he and his colleagues were very cool, and laid-back about all the logistics, adjusting to changes in the plans without batting an eye.

We wanted to say thanks again for being our DJ at our wedding banquet! Michael and I had a great time and we DID NOT stop dancing! In fact, we were too busy dancing to even eat the cake that we pretended to cut for pictures! LOL You did an awesome job! The guests had a great time dancing too and I hope you had fun! Thanks again!

Bernard arrived early and there wasn’t a moment he wasn’t playing something great. He played music we requested and blended it with his own intuition of what would keep our guests moving. Bernard followed our lead as to when to get the reception started after the cocktail hour. It was truly our night and not someone else’s show. The cocktail hour was lively (because we wanted it that way) and once the reception started, our guests were always on the dance floor. Bernard knows music through and through and lets the music run the night, he’s not a showman, he’s simply a great DJ.
He played everything from Cat Stevens to Madonna to Richie Havens to Fiona Apple. And we wanted to a dance the chava nagilla, a traditional dance, and he had several choices to choose from. So many of our guests, who have done this dance at every wedding and Bar Mitzvah they’ve ever attended, came up to us and said “what was that?” “that was amazing!” Bernard knows how to please a crowd.

I thought Bernard was awesome. He truly professional throughout the whole experience. He always returned phone calls and emails and spent a good amount of time talking to us before our wedding.
He was on cue with announcements. If you’ve already spoken to him you probably noticed that he has a very clear speaking voice. He was on point with timing and names when it came to show time.
He also did a great job on song choices. He even worked in a few special songs that I put on a disk for him. Bernard is very passionate about music and knows a lot about it. Everyone danced and really had a good time.

It is my absolute pleasure to recommend Bernard! He did a fantastic job with our wedding. When I first met with him I found him very helpful in giving us things to think about to prepare for the big day. We supplied him with a list of songs that we preferred so he had a good idea of the style of music that we wanted and the flow of the music they played was absolutely perfect. We had a small venue as well with about 70 people, and the sound system they used was perfect. We were so thankful that the night went so smooth and people were out dancing the whole time and having a great time. This is due in large part to Bernard keeping the flow of the music going. Bernard truly went above and beyond to accommodate us at a very affordable rate.

As for Bernard, I couldn’t have been happier with him. We didn’t have a play list or anything like that, he just got some general info on our guests (age, music they listen to, etc) and he had the whole party dancing all night long. He knew when to play dinner music and had a good mix of slow dances for the couples and shake your groove thang music. The music was one of the comments we got the most of, and all good, from our friend to our family of all ages. He is super relaxed and does not do the whole showy DJ thing, which is exactly what we wanted. If you want someone who’s going to talk to the crowd all night and such he’s not the person for you. He was more than happy to make the few announcements we needed. And he wouldn’t take any requests without clearing it with either of us.

Happy new year! Yulun and I owe you a big thanks for all your good work and energy during our wedding. We had a blast and so did our families and friends. We are just looking over some pictures and the happy looks on all the faces are bringing back great memories from that night.
